Smooth electric performance
The 2024 Nissan ARIYA is offered with either a single-motor or dual-motor setup. Going from the former to the latter unlocks a major performance upgrade. Single-motor ARIYA models can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 7.2 seconds, while dual-motor models do it in just 4.8 seconds. This is not only because of the extra power — up to 389 horsepower — but also because of the addition of e-4ORCE all-wheel drive. Instant torque delivery and no shifting gears help the ARIYA feel incredibly powerful — far more than its quiet operation would suggest.
Over 300 miles of range
What the single-motor configuration loses in sheer accelerations, it gains back in efficiency. The ARIYA Venture+ can go up to 304 miles on a single charge, made possible in part by regenerative braking technology. Simply let off the accelerator pedal and the ARIYA will automatically slow itself down, converting kinetic energy into electricity to feed back into the battery. If you’re not used to it, one-pedal driving can take a little adjustment. But once you’ve gotten in the groove, it can feel a lot more natural than two-pedal driving — and less fatiguing over long distances, too. You can also put the car into one of three modes — Sport, Eco, and Snow — to optimize for the current driving conditions.
The ARIYA can be charged at 110-volt and 240-volt power outlets, as well as public charging stations and DC fast chargers. Nissan also promises to make the ARIYA compatible with Tesla Supercharger stations, so there’s no limit to where you can top up your battery.
High-tech connectivity
The 2024 Nissan ARIYA boasts dual 12.3-inch digital displays. One is for displaying gauges and other driving information, while the other is a touch-sensitive infotainment screen with a volume knob. The latter has haptic feedback, making it more responsive and satisfying to use than a traditional touch screen.
Connectivity features like wireless Apple CarPlay®, wireless Android Auto™, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Alexa Built-In, and a “Hello Nissan” smart assistant make it supremely easy to connect to your contacts, stream content from the internet, plan routes, and even talk to your Alexa device at home without ever having to take your hands off the wheel. Other notable features include wireless charging, a color head-up display, and 10-speaker Bose® sound system. One thing’s for sure: the ARIYA comes well equipped.
Next-gen driving assistance
The new Nissan ARIYA has all the usual driver assistance systems you would expect to find in a modern car, like automatic emergency braking with pedestrian, lane keeping assistance, and blind spot monitoring. But it also has much more. The Intelligent Around View® monitor, including a 360-degree bird’s-eye-view, makes it so easy to park in tight spaces. The digital rearview mirror also enhances rearward vision without obstruction from passengers or the car itself.
And then there’s ProPILOT Assist 2.0. At the push of a button, this advanced semi-autonomous system uses high-definition 3D mapping to enable hands-free driving on the highway, including automatic lane centering, lane changes, safe distancing, and more.
Practical space
The ARIYA’s minimalist interior is practical and comfortable. Zero Gravity front seats make for an exceptionally plush ride, and various small touches enhance daily livability — like the power-sliding center console, power center storage with tray table, and soft ambient interior lighting. Heated and ventilated seats with memory, along with a heated steering wheel, get you through the worst of Pennsylvania winters.
And in the back, there’s plenty of space for your things. The motion-activated liftgate and totally flat cargo floor make it easy to load items. Meanwhile, side storage pockets and a Divide-N-Hide® cargo system add useful organizational versatility.
