The Dodge Challenger has long been an American icon. Now, for 2020, the Challenger is getting even more powerful and versatile with some great updates. Here are a few things you can expect to see in the 2020 Dodge Challenger.
Trim Options
You will get to choose from an impressive array of eight trim levels: SXT, SXT AWD, GT, GT AWD, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, and SRT Hellcat Redeye.
Exterior Colors
There will be three new exterior paint colors to choose from, including the cheekily named Frostbite, Hellraisin, and Sinamon Stick.
Wheel Options
Dodge is releasing nine new wheel designs and finishes this year. These include the standard 19-inch Satin Carbon wheels, available Black Noise wheels, available Lights Out wheels, and available Low Gloss Black wheels.
Interior Details
All Challenger models equipped with leather seating will now come with a premium-stitched dashboard and upper door panels. HEMI® V8 models are available with a Carbon Fiber bezel that will now include a Dynamica suede headliner. Some of the trim levels will have a new Caramel Alcantara interior color option. These updates will give the Challenger a more sophisticated interior design.
Badges
Some of the Challenger models will come with new exterior and interior badges. For example, there will be new HEMI® fender badges, a Scat Pack Bee spoiler badge, a black and Red SRT® Hellcat badge on the instrument panel, and a SHAKER logo badge.
Engine Options
The Challenger is available with five powerful engine options. The standard engine is the award-winning 3.6-liter V6. The R/T model comes with a 5.7-liter HEMI® V8, while the R/T Scat Pack models come with a 392 HEMI® V8. With even more power, the SRT Hellcat comes with a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® V8, and the SRT® Hellcat Redeye is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® high-output V8.
